More impressive from the outside than from the inside!
The castle-like exterior creates high expectations, that are not fully satisfied by the interior which is more Marriott/Hilton-like with some historic touches. The rooms are nicely furnished, but show their age and need a renovation. When I was there in October of 2009, the heating pump had failed and the hotel was waiting for replacement parts. The two hotel restaurants are OK, but there are better choices in walking distance in downtown Saskatoon. Roomy indoor exercise/pool area with views of the garden. Very polite and helpful staff.
Stay in the downtown area - every place of interest is walkable, unless it gets too cold to be outside.

Very pleased
We have stayed at this hotel before. The service was still as good as we remembered it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
