Would not book again out of choice

I would not rate this hotel as ’four star’. It is quite old and I feel it is in need of some modernization. I had a single room which frankly was very small to the extent of almost being claustrophobic! No Coffee or Tea facilities in the room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located.

Good location

Deluxe rooms are the best value in this hotel, no need for executive. Garden rooms should be fine for the winter but not for summer as there is no AC in the rooms. My two main complaints are that the water pressure is low in the showers and the breakfast is too expensive for the selections on offer.

Great business hotel

Very friendly and efficient staff always make a stay at this hotel a great pleasure. The rooms are generally very well fitted, clean and well maintained. The layout of the structure is quirky as a result of it’s development over many decades but in some ways that adds to the charm of a stay here.

The buffet style breakfast is disappointing and poor value but there are some local coffee shops providing a better value alternative.
