Brussels tasty mussels
The Cascade hotel ticks all the boxes,pleasant staff greet with gusto .Our receptionist brimming over with information on the locality of the local sights.Rooms clean and well maintained .A twin set of beds not a double for the standard class but not a problem really ,its business if you need the double bubble.Bathroom and toliet facilities of an adequete standard.Downside in the standard setup is no kettle facilities when you could really do with a cuppa after long journey.Breakfast is a good quality continental with all tastes good and fresh.Close to grand place and station easy metro service.Well done to cascade for its effort.
Traveller's tip on shopping
Grand place very close 20 mins walk,metro will access all areas .Research before you leave ,very easy to get around.Plus do yourself a favour investigate all small roads as well a big .Small roads contain interesting antiques and chocolate shops.Take plenty of money .There are lots of different markets the hotel will inform you of locations.

First time in all my travels found the reception staff very indifferent and not very helpful.

Very reasonable, but not a ’4 star’ hotel
very clean, good location, and very helpful (and English-speaking) staff. however, breakfast is the only meal available, there’s no room service, and breakfast itself is pretty limited.
