Perfect hotel for a beautiful city!
Everything about the Palazzo Guardati was wonderful - from the greeting on reception, to the room set up and facilities, to the breakfast and location! We were in Sorrento for a wedding at the cloisters and the location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! Although we were there out of season, we could not have been made to feel more welcome, and to enjoy Sorrento in all it’s glory! I would most definitely come to Sorrento again, and would think about staying in this hotel again...
Top tip: The train journey from Naples can be long and hot (and quite an experience!!), but it is a lost cheaper than a taxi...

Great Hotel
A really nice very new hotel. Located about 50 yds from the main square (Tasso Square) in Sorrento. Free buffet breakfast is more than adequate. Service was very good. We got many good suggestions form the counter staff. WIFI in the hotel. I did not have a computer so they lent me a laptop for my use. Wifi is not free but not very expensive. I would certainly go back and recommend it to others.

Good location - handy for everywhere alonng the Amalfi coast
Spacious, well-appointed bathroom, prettily decorated furniture, shiny cream tiles, sparkling mirrors and elaborate glass light fittings - this hotel was new 3 years ago but is part of a very old building. The famous Italian singer, Caruso, had lived next door and his house is now a famous resturant. The top-floor terrace is nicely furnished and has wonderful views.It is ideal for sunbathing. There is a second, shadier garden terrace if you prefer somewhere quiet. The hotel is really well situated in Sorrento. Step out and you’re where the action is! The lack of a pool did not worry us. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast.
