Clean, comfortable, convenient - a well-run hotel
Clean, comfortable and convenient are the words that summarise this hotel. It is located within walking distance of both the city centre and the main rail/bus station. While the hotel is clearly geared for the business user, it is also ideal for those using it as a base for a holiday - both local site-seeing and getting to other locations for on a day trip. A self-service continental style breakfast was included in our package and judged better than average in terms of quality and range. The air conditioned rooms are well-laid-out and bright and some have balconies - as did ours that looked out on to the main road into the city centre. There was no problem about noise. All the linen was changed daily and the room restored to clean and tidy order by the domestic staff to a high standard prior to our return from daily excursions. While the fancy shower, enclosed in a cubicle that kept the condensation in, worked well, we were unable to master the instructions to make use of all the fancy functions on offer. Instead of seeking guidance from the helpful staff, we saw this as an intelligence test throughout our stay but ultimately failed. Overall, this hotel met all of our needs and my wife and I recommend it highly.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Just by walking a few streets away from the main squares and roads, where tourists frequent, there are some excellent eating establishments that the locals use. These are very much cheaper and there tends to be more ’buzz’. This is especially true at lunchtime.

Best Western Hotel Firenze
We thought this Hotel was ideal for a visit to Verona. It is a short walk from the old town and the Arena. It is also near the railway station. Staff excellent, accommodation excellent, Breakfast good - but no restaurant in the hotel. Unless you want Pizza or Pasta decent restaurants are a longish walk and few.

You could walk from the railway station to the hotel depending on you luggage/ fitness and the weather.

Great hotel and value for money
Stayed for four nights in early September 2009. Room allocated 557 with a great view and balcony.A spotless hotel with very freindly staff and free internet a bonus. Will return again next year for opera festival.

Many dining options nearby at the Piazza Bra area especially at night lots of ambiance arround and great food.
