Will be returning to have a blast!

When we arrived @ midnight we checked in to find that they overbooked. Due to the overbooking we received a suite which was beautiful! We had to switch rooms the next day @ noon into the smoking junior room. The junior room did not have ventalation or even a fan in the bathroom that you would expect for a smoking room though. The spa was excellent along w/ the staff there. I will diffently go back. The Casino was great due to the fact it was just a few floors down. Our party was impressed with the fast elevators and the cleaniness. I liked the Free Bayside buffet that was offered but did not like the eggs that were offered. The Cafe was good but was surprised w/ the prices, ex: 4 sausage side was $4.75. Really? not worth that. On the casino floor was a lot to choose from which was great - from .01- $20 dollar slots. (Great range) Many tables to choose from but we did not partake. The hotel/ casino is very close to Borgata and Harrah’s which you could see from our room. ($10-15 taxi ride).

My Heaven

I enjoyed my stay at the Trump Marina. I told all my friends and family for their next trip to Atlantic City thats the place to stay. I spent a week there and I have not one complaint. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and on point.

Good but not great

The rooms are pretty basic and compact. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Boardwalk and is not in walking distance. The Marina is not a great place to stay during colder times of the year but I had no complaints. The casino is great!

"Not Impressed"

I checked in around 5PM and had requested a king size bed. The customer service advised me that there was only 1 king bed and the room had not been made up yet and I would have to wait 1-2 hours! It was 5pm and I don’t know why the room was not made up, we had to settle for a room with 2 full beds, which I did not want. Also, the rooms have paper thin walls and I could hear the guests right thru the walls. The room had a door to connect the rooms, maybe that is why the sound came thru so clearly..

Great value - would return

I booked this hotel through Expedia because the rate was less than half that of the rate for the hotel where the conference was being held. Although not in the same neighborhood, it is easy to catch the Jitney bus to hotels in the downtown district or drive your vehicle and valet or self park there. Still saved money and had a great experience.

Better Than Expected!!!!

Everything was as expected. Room was great, modern and very comfortable. Great Stay but went elsewhere to gamble and eat. Casino is outdated and no great dining choices. For entertainment and dining try Harrah’s next door or the Borgata which is close. But in terms of room and great price you can’t be beat at Trump Marina.

One time only.

The hotel was very nice, the only issue I had was when I checked in. They gave me a key to the wrong room, so me and my pregnant wife had to go back down 14 floors and stand back in a long line to get the right room key. Breakfast was good, when I got a non-expired free breakfast ticket. Ok, but I will never stay there again. That is just my opinion.

Not Biloxi quality but good enough for a summertime visit

The room was almost 5 star quality. but had dirty windows on outside but they had an apology letter that they were undergoing maintenece. Room service very pricey. Restuarants inside casino served good food. Reccomend for a summer visit, too cold duriing winter. Economy rental was clean and great gas mileage. Be sure to purchase the collision insurance. Crazy drivers there and my rental suffered hit and run while there. No questions asked when turned in vehicle, just wrote a statement.. Flight was on time and very accomodateing. Overall a good experience condsidering customer service nowadays does not seem to exist most places.

Looking forward to going back. Just looking for a day when I can

I had a wonderful stay and the Trump Marina. The only thing I was sorry about was that I didn’t stay longer. I am hoping on my next time there I will stay for a couple of days.

Nice Hotel, but bewareof thin walls..

The room was very nice, the staff was fine and we had a great time. My only issue is that the walls are PAPER THIN! Not sure I needed hear all of the conversations and dialogue which I did. Especially at 6am!

Great value and accomodations for the price and accessible to all areas via shuttle and jitney servi

Trump Marina Hotel is on the Brigantine side of Atlantic City, so it avoids the crowds and bustle along the boardwalk. It is accessible to the Convention Center, the boardwalk, casinos, and shopping outlets via public transportation. You can use the new tunnel to get to the boardwalk/casinos if you drive yourself. The hotel has all the amenities of a resort hotel/casino and was perfect for my stay during a convention.

The room was exquisite. The surroundings were nice and my view of the marina was only shadowed by the rain clouds. A great place to stay!

Great hotel for seniors that want to be away from nightlife, not for 30 somethings!

The room first. Nice size, clean, comfy bed. Outside of windows were very dirty. Spectacular view through the dirt. 23rd floor so the view would really have been impressive with clean windows. Not a deal breaker though, Before we headed out for the evening we noticed the bathroom sink was extremely slow in draining. Hubby took his shower first in the morning, the water was covering his ankles by the time he was done. I skipped a shower! At 12pm, it still wasn’t drained. The casino/nightlife, or shall we say lack of! Nice little lobby bar. Sadly it is the ONLY little bar. Bartenders were very friendly and efficient, it wasn’t what we were hoping for. There’s a nightclub at the end of the casino floor called the Wave. It’s should have been called the trickle. The ONLY people in there the whole night were a bartender, dj, and one cocktail waitress. NO patrons. We walked around the whole floor and all of these beautiful restaurants, Friday night, CLOSED! We are not big gamblers, were looking for nightlife. Even tried hanging at H.ooters.. one table of costumers. Whole casino just an absolute dead zone. Thank GOD Harrah’s was the first stop off the jitney. Next time, I’m skipping the cheap rate and staying at Harrahs. Even though off the boardwalk, they offer enough to keep you there and not feeling isolated.

If you haven’t before, go to Whitehouse Subs at 2301 Artic Ave. It doesn’t look like much, but if you love a good cheese steak or Italian.. you will not be disappointed. You also won’t be disappointed Angelonis II on Artic ave. Quaint, old world Italian. Reasonable prices and not the wait that you get at Angelo’s, nor the hurting on your wallet. As for night life, hit up Harrahs! When you enter there is the Sapphire Bar, great atmosphere. Live music, fun bartenders, and great bar. I love the ice blocks on the bar that keep your drink cold. After a few, head over to the Pool After Dark. OMG, sinful! But a great time.

Good experience

Our room was spacious, and very comfortable. We had a nice view from our window of the water and marina. There was a bit of a mixup when we checked in-but it was cheerfully worked out by the front office staff. I would stay here again when traveling to Atlantic City.

My son and I had a bad experience with the Atlantic City Jitney service-traveling from the Borgata back to the Trump Marina. The driver never stopped at our hotel and was going to make us get off in an unsavory section of A.C. at midnight at the end of his route. My son and I had to pay another set of fares to get back to our hotel. We were terrified-and he was very nasty to us. Be careful when traveling on these Jitney buses, especially late at night.

Too much fuss...for nothing....

For it to have the Trump name, I wasnt at all impressed. My hotel room was in a no smoking floor and the minute i got in it smelled as though the entire floor was smoking. The sheets didnt smell clean and the shower was rusty. The location was also far from the boardwalk. I had to take a $13 cab ride to get to the boardwalk. Also, I booked a month in advanced and requested a king size bed but when i got there all they had were queen size beds because the overbooked. I was a bit upset until the receptionist gave my friend and i a boucher for a buffet, although the food wasnt all that great. To sum it all up, you get what you paid for. If you are on a buget, I guess stay there. Otherwise you can do better.

OK but a few issues with hotel

The hotel basics were good for the price but being greeted two mornings in a row by window cleaners/maintenance workers when I opened my curtains was disconcerting. I was on the 19th floor and had no warning from the hotel staff. Though two other resort hotels are close by the boardwalk and all its attractions as well as many other hotels are a few miles away. Trump Marina does NOT offer complimentary shuttle service to the boardwalk area for their guests - that is a negative.

Trump Marina needs a renovation

Guests are hard on hotel rooms in Atlantic City, I guess. I was there for a bachelor party and we were so I understand. Also, indoor smoking at casinos is gross.

Traveller's tip on dining

Dock’s Oyster House is probably the best restaurant in Atlantic City. Great service and fantastic food.

THE BEST!

My BEST friend & I stayed at the Marina for 2 nites & it was the best! The room was gorgeous & well worth the prices. It was August, so hotel prices were high, but I found a good deal and the room was wonderful. The beds were soo comfortable & the furniture was so cute. The lovely woman who checked us in, was so helpful & nice. As well as the casino workers & the woman taking of Trump Cards. It was an amazing time. The casino was gorgeous & a blast! The deck was also very pretty & relaxing. We just had the best time & I would go back there in a second!!!!

Traveller's tip on nightlife

PLEASE check out the nite club at the Trump Taj Mahal & a nite club called "Club Escape". We had a BLAST & I recommend them to anyone!!!

It was nice

The only thing i had a problem with was the wall paper was coming off the wall i guess from water damage and the bathroom was quite small. The walls were paper thin and could hear everything next door and out in the halls. The room itself was nice but the hotel and casino was very outdated. I stayed here for my 21st birthday. wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion.

Great, but a bit far off the boardwalk strip if carless...

Excellent hotel and casino for the money (with close proximity to the great Borgata although dangerous to walk to because there is no sidewalk and must cross practical highways and a taxi costs $9 just to cross these!). Only issue is that if you arrive by bus and without a car, this hotel is difficult to arrive and leave from by night by jitnee (doesn’t pass very often) and taxi costs the full, allowed rate from the main boardwalk strip.
