An excellent choice
Having read previous reviews about this hotel, 2 friends, my husband and myself decided to book. It exceeded all our expectations. The position was super as it was close to all public transport and within spitting distance of the Old Town. It was excellent value for the money with a good breakfast which set us up for the day. We also liked the restaurant 3 doors along "Jarema" which had been mentioned in one review. In fact the hotel issued free "what’s on in Krakow " books which proved to be invaluable. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for any age group and will certainly return.
The Cloth Hall sells some excellent amber jewellery which is so much cheaper than in the uk.

nice hotel close to everything,cheap food and drinks but not good for shopping
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
use the train from airport less than 2 pounds each way and station really close to hotel thru large shopping mall

No hesitation in booking again
We have just come back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. We could not fault anything about it. It was clean and comfortable and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. There was something to suit everyone for breakfast and plenty of it. The hotel arranged an airport transfer which made it very easy. It was also very convenient for the city centre. All in all it was a great break even though it was freezing cold and snowed most of the time. We would not hesitate in booking this hotel again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If you want to get a good cup of coffee and a warm up go to Coffee Heaven just through the arch on the way to the city centre. Also for an excellent meal at a reasonable price try Mezze on ul. Sw. Tomasza 28. Don’t forget to visit the castle, Auschwitz and the Salt mines.
