Great value
Very good location close to downtown but away from the crazy traffic of Night Bazaar. The room was clean with a modern bathroom - great water pressure in the shower. A little bit lo-tech in terms of tv, internet but you’re not coming to Chiang Mai to watch tv. Wi-fi cards can be purchased from the Front Desk to use in your room. The cards seemed a little steep: 200baht/hour. Beautiful lobby, front desk staff was helpful. I would recommend and stay there again. Very good value.

Delightful hotel
Although the hotel looks like a bit of a concrete block from the outside, there is no doubt that it is a touch of luxury on the inside. Staff are very attentive, the atmosphere is cool and laid-back, It reeks of qaulity. It is slightly off the centre of town but that makes it quieter in the street and it’s only about 40 baht for a tuktuk to the heart of the action. You can walk to the night market in five minutes but you’d want transport to the Taipei Gate (spelling ?). Very good value.

Stay here!!!
After my traveling partner and I spent a couple nights in a small condo room with cockroaches and no bath towels, we were a little weary of our next location (since it was only around $20 a night also). But once we pulled up our jaws were continually on the floor. This hotel is gorgeous, our room was spacious with an amazing picture window view (we saw the sunrise from it every morning), and a lovely pool to lounge by! It’s also within walking distance to most of the markets and had a seven eleven nearby which was convenient for buying calling cards to contact home. Best of all it felt safe. This hotel definitely contributed to an amazing time in Chiang Mai and I would (and will) stay here again if I return, no second thought!
