Disappointed
We were disappointed with the condition of the hotel. It does not merit a 4.5 star and at the present time the hotel is being re-furbished. As a result, it is extremely noisy throughout the day (10:00 to 6:00) with workmen drilling in walls. The staff were not helpful and were generally aloof. The hotel itself is a good walk from most points of interest although an MTR station is quite near. On a positive note, the beds are good and the pillows are extremely comfortable.

Excellent friendy staff, great location for exploring Hong Kong
Great hotel, perfectly situated at the end of the Kowloon peninsula for getting around and exploring all Hong Kong has to offer. would definately go back to this hotel for a return visit.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Use the public transport system and taxis to get around. They are really cheap (especially Star ferry), clean, convenient, punctual and fast (in the case of the trains).
