very impressed
Hotel was exactly as described in picture. Great location - metros right outside of the hotel. Great restaurants within a block. Two parks within the block. Will stay here again. Staff very helpful. Makes it nice when we couldnt speak a word of French. Hotel always clean.
Never been to Paris before so I went on internet and found the top 10 sites to see, which we did. I planned my days so when we went to the Lourve, we also saw the sites in the same vicinity. Very helpful to read about the public transportation prior to going. We studied the metro & RER sytems, so we didnt spend our time lost in Paris. I ordered maps on line and a Frend dictionary. I ordered Rosette Stone on How to Speak French, BUT never listened to it! Must see: Les Halles, Pompidou Centre, Lourve, Garden of Tuilleries, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower at night and during the day, Versailles, Grand Arch De La Defense, town of Montmartre, Hotel de Ville, boat ride on the Seine, Arc de Triomphe.
