Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku 8th - 10th November 2009
The hotel is in a fantastic location on a relatively quiet street off the main junction 5 minutes walk from the South East exit of Shinjuku Station. (Take a copy of an area map as Shinjuku Station is very large). We used the direct train from Nintara Airport to Shinjuku Station which took about 1 hr 15 minutes stopping at only 3 stations. Tickets for the train are easily obtained at the airport and it is only a 5 min short walk to the station to get the train. There is also a Hotel / airport shuttle service which you could also use and depending on traffic, takes between 1hr 20 to 2 hours door to door. Check with the hotel to book this…. The rooms are the standard small size typically used by short stay business people. Our room was always kept spotless during our stay and was well equipped with an excellent shower and standard toiletries etc. Storage space is adaquate for a short stay. As a stop off point on a multi city / country trip however it is more than adequate as a base to see the city. There are vending machines on each floor with water, ice soft drinks and beer if you need it. The Hotel Staff were excellent and helped with arranging our transfer back to the airport and a day tour of the city which was fantastic value for those only staying a short time in the city. Great value hotel in a fantastic location in a very safe city…. There is so much to see and do in Tokyo; you probably won’t be spending much time in the room anyway!
The 1/2 day and full day city tour options are an excellent way to see the city.

Super nice for the yen!!!
The Sunroute Plaza was convenient to Shinjuku station and other places of interest. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was congeniel and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice. I would stay here again without any hesitation.
