Very relaxing easy access to everything
Reception staff very helpful , all staff very attentive, need to expand on the bar facilities, nice pool and facilities.
well equipped rooms nicely situated , taxi are not expensive to La Rochelle

Very Pleasant Modern Hotel
We were pleasantly surprised with this spacious, modern hotel. It’s very much set up for self catering with electric hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. You can get breakfast but they don’t cater for any other meals. Our apartment consisted of two bedrooms and a lounge area which contained a small kitchenette. All the rooms were a good size and were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Beds were slightly hard but that’s just a minor quibble. The staff on reception were very helpful and spoke good English. We had a leak under the floor in our room and when reported the problem was dealt with immediately and we were moved to an equivalent apartment. You definitely need a car to get into the centre of La Rochelle. It would be a good hour’s walk to get to the centre from the hotel. The nearest supermarket is just round the corner and supplies everything that you might need. Secure underground parking is provided. Swimming pool was fairly basic but wasn’t too cold which suggests that there was some form of heating. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We would happily stay there again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Although slightly further afield (1.5 hours drive), a trip to Puy du Fou is well worth a visit. It’s a theme park that is one of France’s best kept secrets.

We will definitely use this hotel again
We stayed in this hotel for one night on 22nd August 2009 and would definitely choose to stay here again. The rooms were spotless. There is a supermarket a 5 min drive away to stock up on any provisions that you may require. The Hotel is only a few minutes drive from the centre of La Rochelle and the airport. The only negative point that I can think of is that we could not find any restaurants within walking distance.
Traveller's tip on dining
If you decide that you want to eat in the centre (or port) of La Rochelle my advice would be to park there during the afternoon as it gets extremely busy at night.
