OK Hotel

This Hotel is in close walking distance of St. Catherine St. Etc. Parking garage is undergoing renovations , we parked in an outdoor lot right next to the hotel , very convenient. A no frills hotel , overpriced I think. I would go elsewhere next time , but it’s not the worst place either.

Hotel room did’nt look exactly like the pictures on the website. I guess it was ok for the price. The location is very good. People left their pizza boxes and garbage in the hallways all night.

Good Montreal Hotel

Good hotel for location and price. Good area in downtown Montreal. Spacious and clean rooms. No complaints.

Came to this hotel on June 25th. No where on this website did it say that the entire parking facility was under construction. But they still use the underground parking...where you park your own vehicle. There are hundreds of metal posts holding up the ceiling and you have to menuveur around them to park. Seriously, very dangerous. The worst part is that they still make you pay the full $18.00CAD parking fee. Also, if your on the second level of the underground, you cannot use the hotel door entrance. It’s damaged so you need to walk up the curved ramp, with your luggage and pray you don’t get hit by a car. The rooms are ok. They are clean. But the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors like they are right beside you. Construction starts at 7am, so don’t plan on sleeping in. I would never stay here again. It’s not what it promotes itself to be and it’s not worth the money they charge.

Looking for basics this is your hotel

It was strange to walk into a hotel room with laminate hard wood floors. I am not complaining since these would be way easier to clean. I did not like that we did not have a thermostat in our room to turn the heat down. We were there middle of April and had some very warm days. To the point where we turned the A/C on. I didn’t like how we had a king size bed and only 1 table lamp in the entire room besides the bathroom and main entrance light. More lighting is definitely needed. It is located a block over from a main road which was great except if you look the other way...the neighbourhood seemed questionable. We walked everywhere we went and it is 2 blocks from the Metro subway station. There were doing some construction to spruce the place up so maybe next time it won’t seem so dark. I would stay there again becuase of price and location.

Convenient Location

Hotel is conveiently located to the Bell Center and St Catherine’s Street, the two areas we planned to frequent. Hotel was a no frills, decent, and clean facility. Parking in the garage was not an option with the truck we had so it was additional $50 to park in the lot next door for 3 days. If I do another "guy’s trip" to Montreal, I’d stay here again, if I was bringing my wife, I’d opt for a little nicer place.

The only negative is getting service in the restaurant. Couldn’t get served for breakfast and I was the only person in the restaurant!

Warning: Mixed Hotel Experience

Upon arriving at the hotel I was please to see that the front desk was very helpful, my room was clean, parking was easy, and the hotel was walking dist. to attractions and metro service. Upon checking out the front desk insisted that I pay a fee for a local call made from my room. I had not made a call during my stay nor did I receive room service since I stayed just one night. After much debate the fee was dropped. I did not appreciate that the hotel was more concerned with collecting additional fees than questionning how a local call was made from within my locked room while I was away.

Great Vaule and Close to Everything

We stayed at the Days Inn because it said it was close area attractions and it was a great walk to and from the convention. The inside of the hotel was very nice looking and the staff was very friendly. There is a parking garage with a minimual fee that keeps your car secure. If you want their breakfast buffet its pretty expensive other than that a great overall value!!

Right down the street from Bell Center. One block to metro,frome there a short hop to old Montreal. very Good price!

Decent Value, Nice location

Pro’s, price, location, proximity to sites and mass transit. Con’s Room Cleanliness, Pool hours. I was happy with my stay for the most part. Non-Smoking Room obviously had been smoked in.

partying on st. cats? great hotel for the price/location

the place is 2 blocks from st. catherines so its great for partying. my room was clean for the most part, though the coffee maker in the room was broken and leaked all over. It was replaced promptly though, which was good. The shop within the hotel tried to rip me off saying that the conversion rate of US to CAN dollars was 90%, which is untrue. Otherwise the hotel was great for the location and price, I recommend it.

Very good room for the money

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect area - walking distance to everything. The room was not overly special but it was good sized, clean and had a refrigerator - good value. We would stay there again.

went with my daughter and her friend for 18th birthday. excellent location, just a couple of blocks from shopping on St. Catherine and partying on Crescent.

Traveller's tip on nightlife

If you plan to party, plan to spend a lot of money, drinks are expensive everywhere.

Great Location

I have been to Montreal four times now, and I have Stayed at this hotel three of the four times. The only reason I didn’t the one time is because i stayed at a friend’s house. It has such a great location, only two blocks down from the main street!!
