Pretty good, but room not as clean as it could be
The hotel has all the ammenities you would want but our room could have done with a proper clean and the carpet should have been replaced. The service was slow but this seems to be a Maltese thing. The concergie (excuse spelling!) was very good. The hotel is very conveintently located - only 5 mins walk from the bus stop. Sea view is only harbour view - I dont think you could get get a sea view from the hotel?
The food in Malta is average - we really struggled to find a good meal. Public transport is excellent though, so you can travel about easily

The best in town!
Hotel was very plush. Staff were very efficient & friendly. Food and drinks were expensive. We ate an evening hotel buffet which was really too much! Breakfasts were buffet and excellent quality & choice. We hired a car and used the free parking in the hotel but didnt really use it. You really dont need a car:- They have a great boat ferry across to Selima nearby and the bus terminus is about 250m away from the hotel which will get you anywhere on this small island. Lots of places to eat in Valetta. Both indoor & outdoor pool are great- even the unheated outdoor pool we managed to swim in at the end of October - fab! Made use of the free sauna and great showers. Room service will even bring fresh milk to go with your in-room tea making facilities. Free safe in room and maids very efficient and kept the room very clean. Best rooms have the harbour views across to Selima and your own patio! Cant wait to go back!
Dont bother hiring a car:- use public transport its cheaper and much more fun! Talk to the locals: they are very interesting people!

Not impressed
The hotel was pretty. The carpeting in the room was very dirty. The food at the pool was only pre-made sandwiches that were horrible. On the up side the bar area was beautiful and the staff was very friendly.
taxis are very expensive. the bus system works great.
