Hotel good standard surrounding area well worn
The hotel was of a good standard and staff friendly. I am afraid the area surrounding the hotel is shall we say "well worn", the Corniche by contrast is of a higher quality. Dining out, Ricks cafe and L’Oyster are recommended.

Nice except for the location
The hotel was lovely (especially the restaurant) but we had a problem with the location. It is near to the port so from about 8am there is constant noise which is not kept out by the double glazing. Add this to the building site next door and we didn’t get much sleep. It would be OK for a stopover but I would not want to stay for any longer than a few nights. On the other hand, if you like to get up early then it would be fine!
Traveller's tip on dining
Walk along the main port road to the medina fort entrance and there is a brilliant restaurant serving local dishes.
