Great little hotel!!!

My girlfriend and I stayed for 2 nights. The location was perfect for exploring the small walled town of Tallinn. Breakfast (included in very good price) was a great start to the day! Rooms were modern and the bed was very comfy! Service was excellent and the hotel’s staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Hotel is situated next to a "gentlemen’s" club, but we experiecned no problems whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again!

Traveller's tip on dining

Go to Bar/Restaurant Controvento located on Katariina Kaik - small little back street just off the main street (Viru) near the market and city walls...great place with an open fire! Perfect spot for sipping on a Vana Tallinn liqueur!

very clean location very close to old town

We found the staff very friendly, rooms extememely clean. Would recommend this hotel to all. The location is very near the old town and there is a handy currency exchange kiosk close by.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

You must take the EstAdventures walking tour of Tallinn, View with a Brew, it is amazing value for money and so informative.

Many plus points, but a couple of negatives

Stayed here in August 2009 - staff are very friendly and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Near to Old Town (but most hotels are). Continental style breakfast was fine. However, standard rooms are very standard, quite small as is the wet room (although just big enough). Our room had a window that was permanently shut and if you are a light sleeper you can hear the thud thud of the nightclub in the basement.

Traveller's tip on dining

If you like Indian food you must go to Chakra on Bremeni kaik, a small lane half way down Uus street. Opened in July 2009 - I eat regularly at indian restaurants across the UK and this is up there with the best.
