Decent Value for Money
Overall, this is a decent hotel with good value for money. Unfortunately no pool or other amenities. But the rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and the price reasonable.

small and outdated, but great location
Our room was a bit small and cramped. The cable didn’t have very many English Channels to choose from. The air conditioning did not work for 2 days/nites. The location was great, on a street open to only pedestrians. It can get a bit noisey at nite, but on the plus side it was very convenient to find a place to eat at night. If you are on a budget this is a good hotel choice. I would not recommend if you are on a romantic holiday or with small children.

Neat modern and convenient
Although Perla Hotel is well signposted, the fact that it is located on a pedestsrianised area should be made clear, as we had to ask a few times to finally find it. Very conveniently placed, it is a good choice at reasonable rates and good parking facilities nearby. Breakfast was usual standard, nothing special but adequate and easy self service.
Hotel Zagreb nearby has good cuisine too. Not too far from the old town, but far enough not to suffer the holiday crowds.
