You get what you pay for
I stayed there with my dad, so for two guys on a weekend trip, it wasn’t bad. I would recommend with that in mind. The hotel wasn’t "dirty" but it certainly wasn’t the cleanest place in the world. Located in more of an industrial area just north of downtown. Price was fine, but if you’re looking for a family getaway this is probably not the place for you.
When in Cincinnati make sure you take a trip to the Hofbrauhaus in Newport, KY (just across the Ohio River). Outstanding German beer and food, and a lot of fun for the family.

Convenience and Economy
I have stayed at this hotel a couple dozen times in the past two years. It meets my 3 needs as a business traveler: free parking, free breakfast, and free Internet. I work mostly downtown, so the location is great. The hotel is fine for that, but since it has recently been purchased and is under new management, everything is being cut - from cleaning crew to breakfast items. It is beginning to show that they are accepting government vouchers for people needing temporary housing. So I am not sure I will stay there much in the future. It’s too bad, because it has really met my needs as an inexpensive option for business travel.

don’t expect anything healthy for breakfast
muffins, bagels (no cream cheese), waffels, danish, cerial, coffee, tea nothing in the fruit or juice area nothing for children quite disappointing
