Convenient location
Very convenient location to train and bus stations. Close to Old Town. Easy to find since it’s right behind the Stalin type building which is very unique. Breakfast buffet which is included was adequate, but not great. Rooms were quiet and spacious

Great hotel in Riga
My husband and I enjoyed spending 5 nights in the Hanza Hotel. The hotel was walking distance to the Old Town, Market and Bus Station. It had a delicious full breakfast. We had one dinner there, which was excellent. The front desk personnel provided us with bus timetable and other particulars for a trip we took to Rondale Palace. The hotel rates were reasonably priced. The only negative was hearing some noisy people late evening outside our window for two of the nights. We would definitely return there.

Highlights included attending evening organ concert at Dome Church, browsing through the Central Tirgus Market, seeing Art Nouveau buildings in Old and New Town, taking a scenic riverboat cruise along Old Town and the left bank, and taking a day trip to Rondale Palace.

Excellent quality for good price
Although a 10 minute walk from old city, the hotel was in a good location. The breakfast was a bit chaotic as the bar area where it is served is not big enough for the no. of customers. However, food quality, especially evening meal, very good.
