Convenient Modern Hotel
The hotel is not fancy but it is nice, affordable and conveniently located a few blocks away from a large train station (Friedrichstrasse). However, if you are arriving late at night (as I was) please be aware that you need to cross a river overpass that is dark and a bit sketchy at that time (perfectly fine during the day time though). The room was impeccable, bright and modernly furnished, with a flat screen tv and great wifi connection. You can make complimentary coffee/tea in your room (you have to ask for the machine at reception, though). The biscuit on my pillow was also a nice touch.

Great Location
Best Western Berlin-Mitte is located in the heart of Berlin but on a quite street. The Friedrichstraße S-Bahn is a 5 min walk away which can take you anywhere in the city. The Brandenburg Gate is a 15 min walk away. The rooms are small but very clean and up to date. There is free WIFI internet. Perfect place to lay your head after a day out. As for the review that said the rooms were stuffy, the rooms have A/C.

very very small rooms but clean, computer never worked, friendly staff, if you just want a place to lay your head then this is it!
