great place-staff needs communication training
really nice place and great price/one of the main reasons we picked this place was we wanted to relax the day we checked out and swim/hangout. but know one knew why the pool wasn’t open and we waited for the pool to open and it never did, then we were told we could go to another hotel via a shuttle and use their pool - a littl late - staff seemed clueless - but still great price and lux accomodations.

Nice Place to Stay Near Washington D.C.
The hotel was situated in a great area near restaurants (some within walking distance) and about 20 minutes away from Washington D.C. It has a 24-hour fitness facility, indoor and outdoor pool, and my favorite....it is pet-friendly! Our family of four (including our dog) stayed for three nights and we were very comfortable. The only negative is that the bottled water is not free (the coffee/tea are)and room service is pretty pricey.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The best way to travel from this hotel site is to use the city’s subway system. It’s maintained very well. There is shuttle service available at scheduled times. However, note that the entire one way trip from the hotel to Union Station, Washington D.C. will take about one hour. It’s worth it not to have to travel by car, pay gas, find parking, etc. Also, a bus tour of D.C. sites is a must do! You’ll get in many of the landmarks plus more and you have the hop on/off option that is great!
