Excellent hotel choice for vacation or business
I recently spent 2 nights at the AC Recoletos and was quite pleased with the hotel. It was very clean and up to date. Rooms were adequate in size - very nice bathroom and plenty of electrical outlets. The hotel had FREE wireless internet in the lobby which was really convenient. The property is convenient - easy walking distance to museums, metro and train stations, high end shopping, and good restaurants - there was even a small market right around the corner for water/soda etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel - the staff was very accomodating and friendly.

Quiet, comfortable, well located for a short stay
A pension type hotel, with small contemporary furnished rooms, and trendy bathrooms. Well located for museums such as the Prado and Thyssen which are a short walk away. In the quiet street several decent restaurants and bars are located. A reasonable buffet breakfast is available, and the bar is comfortable but quiet.

Free mini-bar! in ultra modern hotel
Free mini-bar- imagine that! Very good location. Very comfortable and chic. Don’t know about breakfast, gym situation. Used WIFI for free downstairs in the lobby bar.
