No Internet / No air conditioning
On arrival and after checking in, I asked about the pre-paid I apparently needed to connect to internet. The receptionist gave me one of those "sorry" looks and said it was not working. I asked how long it had been broken and she gave me another look which suggested it had been off for some time. When I got up to the room which felt very hot (July 2009 and it was 30 degrees C outside) I found that the air condioning was not working. I went back down to reception and on my way noticed tatty messages in French sellotaoped to the lift wall saying "climatization" was not working. Why did the receptionist not mention this when she told me the internet was not working? After 10 mins, I decided I could not stand the heat, and I checked out. Found a local Campanile about 1km away, This is my first really bad hotel booked via Expedia in many years. Will ask for my money back.

Very Impressed
This hotel is very convenient for tourists. It’s walking distance to the grotto. The receptionists are hospitable and accomodating The room is just perfect for couples and someone who’s not picky with their hotel. Would comeback to this place if ever coming back to Lourdes
