only ok
clean hotel but out of town, you must take the bus to go to town. also i paided for a water view and we got a building view.

Very good value for the money
I was impressed with this hotel. My room was very clean and was quiet. The view could have been a bit better but the price was very good. It may not be in the CBD but the tram makes it easily accessible. The staff was very courteous to me at all times and did their best to assist me in any way they could. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Melbourne.

Satisfied with Citigate hotel
Each of the employees at this hotel were very nice, professional, and helpful. The hotel was maintained and cleaned everyday. The size of the hotel room was larger than expected; room service was prompt and the food was delicious; and it’s across the street from a large park that was relaxing to stroll around.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
I did get room service a few times, but to save some money on breakfast and lunch for example, I just went literally around the corner to a small cafe and got some good breakfast and lunch sandwiches and fruit salads for under $10 (Australian dollars). The other various stores line up the streets, and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk there.
