Visited in the coldest January on record, heating broke down for 3 days & no apologies from hotel.
Disappointing service from management. Bedrooms without heating for three days as boiler had broken down resulting in bedroom temperatures of 15 deg. Centigrade. No apologies or explanation from management, no additional blankets or temporary room heaters were offerred.

Glad I didnt have to spend another night on those rock hard beds got up each morning feeling like I
The Hotel was nice and clean although we found it hard to find any staff to understand us, we had to ask for bedding for our sons camp bed three times before we eventually got it then I asked for a spare blanket (still waiting) and we were there six days before our sheets were cleaned bit pointless really when we were leaving after seven!!!!! on the whole the hotel was lovely and the food was very good and the waiters very polite and efficient even if they didnt understand what we were saying.
The food at the hotel was lovely only thing I would suggest is out of seven nights we had onion soup on 2 and garlic on 3 use a bit of imagination chef!!!!!!!

Take your mosquito spray
Whilst this (large) hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean, we were eaten alive by flies and mosquitos, probably due to the adjacent river and sand dunes. The swimming pool was too cold for most people to use (bear in mind, we holidayed in October)and there was a charge of 10 Euros per person per day to use the indoor swimming pool/fitness centre in an adjacent hotel. Not the place to go for a romantic holiday for two - at peak times you couldnt hear yourself think in the self-service dining room, although the food choice and quality was excellent. You definitely need a car for this part of Spain and the resort itself is not really within easy walking distance of the hotel, unless you like a daily hike.
