Not that impressed
The room was small and rather claustrophobic and the breakfast was most unimpressive. Would not go back.

Basic accomodation but clean
Room was a bit on the small side but clean. Most hotel staff friendly but only one understood English. 1 minute walk to the cheap funicular that will take you directly to the centre of Taormina. However it is only open til 8.15pm at night which makes staying out late difficult in the main centre of Taormina, as only transport back would require a taxi back to the hotel which can be expensive.

Fantastic view and fantastic people
we stayed in the hotel Mazzora for 11 nights and i can’t even explain how quickly it all went! we hired a car from the local agent and travelled around the area, which was mind blowing! the hotel was lovely! the view was so fantastic and we took so many photos of either the sky when the sun was setting against the sea or when the sun was directly setting against it! the staff were lovely!!!! the breakfast staff especially!!!! we always felt welcome and there was someone there that spoke english which was really helpful when we wanted to book two extra nights!!! a comfortable and affordable stay in a hotel in a beautiful area in sicily that is unforgetable!!
