Superb hotel away from the hustle & bustle!
We chose this hotel based on the reviews here and trip adviser and we weren’t disappointed! We were welcomed on a Sunday night by very helpful and friendly staff in English - though Italian was an option! Though the hotel is small and family run the owner has experience of running 5 star hotels and this is reflected in the quality but not the price. Being a family of 5 we had 2 superior rooms which were a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is out of the cerntre of the city but transport is easy to use from the bus stop just across the road. All of the hotel staff we met were friendly and only too pleased to help in excellent English. Essential for us as only our daughter knew any Italian - just 6 weeks of lessons but the staff helped her to learn more! Local restaurants as recommended were very good and in walking distance and the ice cream shop - literally just round the corner - sold the best we have tasted and it’s a lot lot cheaper than the city centre! Would we go again - most definitely!
Naturally in Florence you need to spend time in the centre, but spend time outside too to experience a bit more of the Italian way of life! Get up to the Piazzale Michelangiolo at dusk for a fantastic view of the city!

Highly recommend
Highly recommend staying at Rosary Garden. Staff very hospitable. The hotel was a lovely. Being outside the main historic centre (walking distance)getting away from the tourist crowds and prices was a blessing. The local restaurants recommended be the hotel were fantastic in terms of food and value for money. The best gelato in florence is just round the corner from the hotel. There is also a huge supermarket across the road - useful for nibbles and bringing home delicious Italian goodies!

Great Value and Service
The friendly staff and maintenance of the property were top notch. The breakfast buffet was lovely and sufficient. The floral scent of the room was pretty but a bit over-whelming. The small shower was tight with a slow drain and dated tiles, but otherwise, very clean. Our room was directly above the street and a restaurant, so there was a little bit of noise at night but our jet lag put us right to sleep anyway. It’s a little bit out of the way from the tourist sites (15min+ by bus) but you can use Bus 31 or 32 which run frequently and are easy to use. If you don’t mind a couple of inconveniences, this charming little place is a great value in a quaint and clean neighborhood.
