Avoid at all costs
This hotel is the pits. I don’t know how it dares to call itself a hotel. A drunks hostel would be a more accurate description. The reception is closed at 10pm, all the lobby furniture is removed and steel shutters brought down. There is noise and shouting throughout the night. Montpellier was full due to a conference or we would have moved. They over booked the hotel and there were people sleeping on the floor in the lobby. It was very bad and I do NOT recommend this dump.

No Words For How Gross
All of the previous reviews that gave the Abasun a 1 overall, could have been written by myself. But in addition to the extremely inferior bedding and bathroom faculities no one has mentioned the "air conditioning". Our room faced south and would have been unbearably warm without the ac. However it was on a timer and turned off sometime in the early evening leaving no option other than opening the screenless windows which faced a major and busy street. The trams ran in both directions until 2:00am and then started back up at 5. In addition street cleaners went up and down all night and deliveries occurred early in the morning. They also required you to leave your key whenever you went out. The tv received one channel and we don’t remember any coffee pot or hair dryer. In addition the shower sink closet smelled of sewer gas or mildew.
