It’s Not in Switzerland!!!
Having arrived at Geneva Airport and picked up a hire car we could not find the Premiere Classe for almost two hours. Neither SatNav nor we realised the hotel is NOT in Switzerland but in France! We drove round and round, stopping off at various petrol stations to enquire the way and eventually arrived after 9 p.m. Fortunately there is a Campanile hotel on the same site so we could walk to what was a very good meal. The Premiere Classe is fine: as usual, a hearty breakfast and a clean, quiet room.
Don’t drive into Geneve: the traffic is a nightmare and Swiss drivers do not exercise the usual courtesy to drivers attempting to come out of side roads or parking places.

Nice clean hotel, reasonably priced, friendly, helpful staff. Don’t depend on public transport to get into town, it’s about a mile or two to the centre of St Genis but it’s usually quicker to walk. Receptionist tried to phone a taxi on Sunday but couldn’t get one after calls to 6 different taxi companies.
Hire a car if you can afford it
