Very Basic
The hotel was very basic and reminded me of a room on a ship. We decided to stay there because it was walking distance (although across a few main roads) to Carcassonne airport and we were flying quite early next morning. The staff were extremely friendly (one gentleman spoke excellent English) but the bedsheet did have a mark on it and the shower room had a bad smell (as there were no windows the smell stayed all night). The blackout curtains meant that I had a good sleep, there was a huge supermarket nearby (called the Casino) and it was easy to drive to Carcassonne town centre. My partner thought the place was an adventure but I would only recommend this place if you needed a basic room for 1 night and were not too fussy.
