Pretty poor
If all you want is a bed then fine, but the hotel reception closes at 11pm so you have to find another hotel to get a key from. The room had damp but amazingly the bathroom had been refurbished and was to 4* standard, spotlights newly tiled heated towel rails. Thought of sleeping in bath as it was a more pleasant environment. As somewhere to stay whilst waiting for an early morning ferry or shuttle I suppose it’s OK. Price of booze not particularly stunning in hypermarkets, fuel was 1 english pound per litre for unleaded.

Don’t judge the book by its cover
Hotel undergoing refurbishment on a rolling basis but don’t be put off by that. Room was clean and beds most comfortable. Family run with warm friendly welcome and good service. Excellent coffee Enclosed parking (fee payable) and easy on street parking.
