Was good for me
Everything was good for me. Just stayed one night. Free breakfast was good too. The only thing that could have been better was the fan in the heater was loud enough to cause a problem listening to the TV.

Not Impressed in Asheville
The first room we were given was nice, except for a "ticking" refrigerator. My husband went back to the office and they "upgraded us" to a room with worn furniture and a bad layout (if someone was at the desk you had to climb over them or the bed to get to the bathroom). After unpacking and grabbing some dinner we returned to the room and I started to take a shower. After putting shampoo on my hair and lathering it up the water turned cold and the pressure dropped DRASTICALLY. But then, IT WAS GONE!! Apparently they were having trouble with toilets running and turned the water off to work on them--with NO WARNING. The worst part is the water was off for 12 hours!!!! The motel is old and in the process of renovation, but even allowing for that I would not stay there again. PS The free breakfast buffet was a great deal, the selection was vast--a real hot buffet.

Great room for the money
The room was clean. The safe in the room didn’t work and neither did the remote to the t.v. This wasn’t a big deal for us because the purpose of our trip did not require us to spend a lot of time in the room. The location is great and only minutes from uptown Asheville area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with numerous dishes to choose from. Overall, for the rate we paid we would definitely stay there again.
