Campsite with tiny cabins
This is basically a campsite with some tiny cabins. We (2 adults, 2 children) shared a cabin for two nights as part of a touring holiday and found the cabin to be cramped and poorly maintained. Although it had been cleaned on arrival we found that many of the floor tiles in the tiny bathroom / shower were badly cracked and uneven which caused big puddles and prevented water from running down the drain after taking a shower. The swimming pool was overcrowded (and a charge is implemented for entry from 8th August) and there were frequent loud activities in the pool, such as aqua-gym, which meant that children were unwelcome or relegated to the deep end. The place was vastly overpriced for what it was, but hotels in this area are even more overpriced. On the plus side the staff were helpful on arrival, the setting (mixed woodland) was super as were the views over the bay. The restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced for Italy. The campsite shop was quite well stocked with essentials but overpriced.
Self service breakfast in the restaurant is quite good - you pay per item, not per person as stated elsewhere.

Great location Not so great cabins
The place has a great location, with a great view of the bay! Its very green and beautiful. Although a little bit away from the station, it was convenient to take the bus (2 euro each way) which stops right in front. But the cabins were really small. The place is basically a camp-site, and for a campsite the rates were quite high...considering that breakfast was not included, no soap in the tiny bathroom....The staff were helpful though, and the restaurant is not pricey. They also have tours of Capri, and Amalfi Coast, once a day starting at 8.45am, which are not too expensive. On the whole a good experience.

Great place to stay but not a hotel
As others have said this is not a hotel - it is a campsite with cabins, as well as lots of space for campervans and tents. We had a family bungalow between two of us, which was great. It was tucked away from the main road, so we had plenty of privacy, with a nice view of the Bay of Naples from the verandah. The walk into town is OK, it is only the first few minutes that have no pavement. If you dont want to do that the orange bus stop is right outside - they run every 20 minutes and tickets are 1.10EUR from reception. Staff were helpful and spoke English. The restaurant on site was OK and reasonably priced, but I would recommend walking into Sorrento to eat. The shop was expensive, but had all the basics (as you would expect on a camspite). The private (rocky) beach was great for a swim in the sea, but needed a clean up. The pool was good but got very busy, as the site seems to accomodate school groups. All in all this is a good base to explore Sorrento and the surrounding area, basic accomodation at a reasonable price compared to some of the other options.
Remember you have to buy your bus tickets before you get on.
