Not Impressed!

The room was so cramped.it was not suitable to accommodate a baby, as it was just a double bed and above that a bunk bed which was only suitable above 3yrs old. The bedding was very dated, the flooring was lino, and the walls seemed to have had slight mould. The table seemed to be falling apart. The worst part of all..the ’bathroom’. it was just like the ones on an aeroplane, or even a caravan..that small! You can hear doors banging all the time. There were no cupboards to hang your clothes just some hangers on the rail of the bed!. The staff were very rude and unhelpful, as was the manager. When we wanted to use the internet in the reception area we couldnt get it on, asked the manager for some assistance and he was rolling his eyes and huffing! Thats great customer service for you! Overall i would never stay there again if i was paid to. The room was cheap compared to others but still not worth the price. It did not meet the basic requirements i would expect from a hotel. It completely ruined our holiday. We soon realised it was a popular place for truck and van drivers who would arrive late at night and leave early in the morning. Which is probably about the only thing it is suitable for. I would not recommend this hotel for more than a nights sleep. After a long day walking around in central paris or disneyland, the hotel was the worst place to go back to relax.

the letdown to the holiday...

before booking, i read the other reviews on this hotel and though - these people are just being picky!?..surely it cant be that bad?...well it can!...the best way to discribe the rooms is either that cabin on a boat, a prison cell or as others said, a caravan....its really not big enough to swing a moggie!...regards the much commented on bathroom...just imagine a builders style portaloo stuck in the corner of the the hotel room and your not far wrong...you could if you wanted, sit on the toilet...have a shower and brush your teeth at the same time, it really is tiny and sorta stuck in the corner of the bedroom...all floors are uncarpeted and as a result you can hear every movement from other rooms above, below and to the side of you in adittion to any other noises they make (you could hear other people in the hotel snoring!?)....in addition im pretty sure the cleaners make as much noise in the morning to wake you up and get you out your room as fast as possable...so they can get done quicker...it really was the let down to the holiday, and wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

disney cost a fortune...thats a given, if you are not the ’packed lunch’ type...leave the park at mid day (get your hand stamped etc) and pop to mcdonalds in the disney vilage...it costs half as much, tastes better and is only a 5min walk from the park.

Cheap and Cheerful

It was a step up from a hostel and the room was a little tired in its decor but otherwise very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was not worth the money but the free internet in the room was very useful and a nice convenience.

Traveller's tip

The Bus system stops right outside the hotel and takes you to the RER station - public transport is the easiest and cheapest way to get anywhere!
