OK but not the best mattress
Reasonable hotel at a good rate, and with good staff but spoilt by a mattress that would disgrace a 1 star boarding house, and a movie system that dialogue was inaudible over a very loud buzz (charge credited)
The Grove nearby is well worth a visit. Fabulous food.

Hilton Quality ( except in summer ! )
Overall, very pleased with the hotel. Reception, very efficient and friendly, breakfasts and service in restaurant excellent, pool and gym, typical for hotel, but ok. Bedroom more than adequate, only complaint,is that at time of our visit, the weather was hot. With no air conditioning in bedroom, and only two small windows, the room and especially the bathroom, were far too warm. Although a small fan was provided, this only managed to blow the warm air around. Air conditioning is available in the public rooms, but not in the bedrooms. Nevertheless, I would certainly recommend the hotel, and would have no hesitation returning again, should the need arise.

There is not a lot around the hotel. A couple of eating establishments, within walking distance either side of the hotel.

Sun And Service in Watford
The sun shone, the staff were welcoming and efficient and the service was very good. Breakfast was hot and tasty..overall a great stay and we should be back!
