Got in Trouble and Not Secure

The location of the hotel is fabulous. It is attached to a night club however and is very loud - VERY loud. I read about this and brought ear plugs. Half of the staff at the front desk are incredibly helpful but my fellow girlfriend and I did have some incidents. One night I needed a key card for the room, when I went to ask for it at the desk they asked me my room number. This is something a hotel should never do. Espesically with two girls staying in a room and a bunch of drunk men spilling into the hotel lobby to hear. I asked him if he was going to ask my name and he just habded me my key card. I was furious. The next night my roommate and I were in our room with her cousin and his friend and there was a knock on the door. The night fromt desk man said that there were no guest and that they had to leave. We said they were they were just finishing their food. He said no, NOW. And then he said we would regret it if we didn’t listen. It was a strange stay in Dublin.

Great hotel in wonderful location close to it all!

The location couldn’t be more perfect. The price was cheap, the location in temple bar excellent, the hotel staff friendly and my room was beautiful. Yes, there is a nightclub downstairs, but I asked for a room all the way on the top floor and brought earplugs and had an excellent night of sleep. You can’t beat the price for being able to walk everywhere. Also I recommend the Beatty library. Beautiful and has a free tour on Wednesdays at 1 pm!

really nice stay

I had read reviews saying that it was extremely noisey - there is a nightclub in the hotel but I heard nothing (we were on the 2nd floor) there was a lot of noise from passers by what what can you expect from a hotel situated at the heart of Dublin. The hotel room was small but it was fine for a 3 night stay. The rooms could do with air conditioning. The bar is lovely and the food is great. Staff are very friendly. Perfect location for everything - a half hour walk to Dublin zoo & the Guinness Factory. 1min walk from Temple Bar and tour bus stop.

There is a taxi rank outside the hotel - if you are getting a taxi to the airport I would flag it and not book one as ours was 25mins late so we ended up flaging one!
