excellent location good base
would definately stay in this hotel again for the location. right off the main streets. really didnt use the hotel for more than a base though (sorry) didnt use bar or restaurant, as so much to do nearby. - we walked to empire state, rockerfeller, grand central etc - all nice walks, weather was mild for Nov. and at night felt safe with our 12 year old daughter very busy at night plenty of other families. just too many choices of where to eat. wouldnt recommend roxy’s diner too expensive for what you got but applebeys was good and the MUST diner is ellens stardust just opposite hotel. red line buses were also an excellent way of getting around - hop on and off. didnt need to use any taxis during our long w/e. as we had the bus pass for 2 day option.

Perfect location. Great view of the city. We’ll be back!!
The NOVOTEL Times Square is a perfect location for visiting the city of New York. Ask for a room overlooking Times Square and you won’t be disappointed. Secure lobby, polite, efficient staff from the doormen to the concierge. Requests for extra bedlinen were attended to quickly and our room was always clean and warm. A central location within easy reach of all the major attractions and a block away from the subway. We’ll definitely be back!!
