Awesome
Our stay was great... the hotel was very clean and pleasant, and all the staff members we had contact with were helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the Tower of London as well as a tube station, so we were able to get around easily. Also, the hotel has great food! We cant wait to go back!

Good hotel for the price
The hotel room was bigger than we expected - plenty of room for a family of 4 and all of their luggage. Beds were comfy and the bathrrom was big enough for all of the gear needed for a family. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we arrived - the hallway was painted/renovations done 3 out of the 5 days we were there. The hotel is in the middle of the financial district, so there are no rooms with fabulous views - the hotel is clustered between office buildings and an old church. About a 10 min walk to the Underground, Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Avoid the breakfast "deals" - way too overpriced for a buffet, even by Londons prices. Ask the front desk to arrange a cab ride back to the airport for you about 24 hrs in advance, it cost way less than hailing a cab outside and easier than trying to negociate the Undergrounds steep escalators with large pieces of luggage.
This hotel is in the financial district and becomes a ghost town at night. There is a local chain restaurant across the street (Whetherspoons) that has a great deal for breakfast/lunch and a kids menu. Be warned though, it becomes more of a bar atmosphere after 6 PM.
