A Great Hotel!
I came to Sofia with my son for a football trip (CSKA v Fulham) and got much more for our money with this hotel. Our immediate impression of the young reception and porterage staff was one of professionalism, with good English to boot. We had a nice clean comfortable room with a good shower and TV and the hotel is bang in the middle of Sofia. One of the porters actually arranged for a local walking tour guide to collect us from the hotel, rather than the normal meeting place - and the hotel booked the tour for us too. Chambermaid service excellent with nice personal touches - we came back to find our beds made and Fulham shirts folded on the bed! A brilliant place to stay.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Take a two hour walking tour - leaflet in the hotel lobby. Most main attractions are visited and our guide was bright, articulate and attractive.

Comfort in the city center
The hotel location is ideal for seeing the sites and the staff were very helpful. It is small enough that not all taxi drivers know it, so it is good to bring the address along.

One night stay
Stayed her for one night after a week in the mountains. The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing in Sofia, and not bad price either. Only disappointment was the resturant and room service were closed on the weekend and i was not informed until i tried to order dinner! The staff are friendly and can speak english, and willing to help with any questions. Would definatly recommend and stay here again.
