Restaurant is the reason for staying!
The staff were friendly and the hotel clean although fairly basic - it does have really good food! The starters and desserts are buffet style so you can help yourself from an amazing array of fresh and delicious food. Excellent!
Watch for the hotel signs when you get near. It is tucked out of the way and you wouldn’t find it without following the signs.

Acceptable
The hotel is fine, although consistency between Campanile hotels is not what one might expect - for example, The Campanile, St Nicholas had no flannels whereas another Campanile in which we stayed did. The breakfast bar was fine, the outside decor is in need of refurbishment. Car Parking easy and free. Main criticism, see below.
Traveller's tip
It was not obvious at the time of booking that this hotel is only in the country in terms of being in an industrial estate near the country! Once you accept this, the hotel itself is fine and taxis into Arras are easy to obtain - although not cheap. I don’t think walking in to Arras is an option.
