Excellent hotel with all the mod cons
Rooms very comfortable and well equipped with not only free internet, but an in room PC. Free breakfast was a bonus. Fairly convenient location, with the Old Town and several metro stations a short walk away.

Basic hotel in a good location
The Dauphin is a newish hotel located in a great location near the Palais de Congres convention center, Place d’Armes metro stop, and the Vieux-Montreal (Old Town) part of the city. The hotel is clean and very quiet. Rooms were nice with a large mini-fridge, safe, and in-room computer with wi-fi internet (French keyboard!). Bathroom is small, but has high-end fixtures and low-end complimentary toiletries. The hotel doesn’t have many amenities...a basic free breakfast buffet and a small workout room. But the staff are friendly and the hotel is a good value.
Rent bikes using the public Bixi system! With a $5 daily fee, you can grab a bike at any of hundreds of stations around the city. You just return it to any other station. If you use the bike for less than 30 minutes at a time, it’s free! It’s only $1.50 for each additional 30 minutes of use.
