Loved it. Would definitely go back.
We actually stayed at this hotel by mistake - it is on the mainland, not in Venice itself, but there is a bus on the corner that runs very frequently and goes straight to the waterbus. It has free wireless and a nice breakfast in the price. Breakfast included coffee, hard boiled eggs, cheese, meat, cold cereals, milk, juice, fresh fruit, croissant. The people at the desk were extremely pleasant. The room and bathrm were spotlessly clean. Our room was slightly too small, so it was hard to find a place for suitcases. They also had a computer you could use for $5/hour - maybe they had a rate for multiple hours but we didn’t check. If I went to Venice again on a modest budget I would go right back to Hotel Adela.

Excellent Hotel
Pristine room with really efficient, friendly service and a good breakfast. Ten minute walk to the train station and buses to the island every ten mins from the end of the street (tickets available at reception). At this price I cannot think of anything to complain about :-)

Excellent hotel for visiting Venice
If you don’t want to pay the steep prices for hotels in Venice then this hotel is an excellent alternative. The bus stop is round the corner and costs 1.10 euros for a single trip - tickets can be purchased at the hotel reception and took about 10 minutes to get to Venice. The hotel receptionist was multi-lingual (English, French, German) but the other staff were very limited although this wasn’t a problem. The hotel was very good and I had no complaints.
