Hotel Continental - Sirmione (Lake Garda)
The location of the Hotel was fantastic. a great place to stay, extremely comfortable, excellent service, views over the Lake are amazing. All of the staff are extremely helpful. Would recommend this Hotel to everyone. The pool area is great but of course we went in the low season so I can imagine this Hotel to be fully booked in the summer.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Not sure whether an 8 day stay is too long. If you didn’t have the good weather you wld be at a lost of what to do. Just to mention that visiting the other small Islands is a must but quite expensvie ticket prices. They don’t do 3/4 day passes, so it can work out v. expensive.

Lake view Would have made the trip complete
The Hotel Continental cannot be faulted the cleanliness of the hotel along with the friendliness of the staff is second to none however for the amount of money we paid for the trip I would have expected a Lake View. The view over the Lake is stunning and I sat on the pier outside the hotel with my legs dangling in the water sipping cappucino and wished I could wake up to this view every day!! Sirmione its self is an interesting town with nice shops and ice cream parlours, the restaurants were slightly pricey but I think this is just relative to the surroundings, as with any up market area you would expect to pay slightly more than the norm. We travelled round the lake to other towns and villages and definately recommend visits to Desenzano, Salot, Gardone and Lazsie (which was my favourite) and on Mondays there is a good market in Pecheira.

Unforgettable Quality and tranquility
I can’t praise this hotel enough. Myself and my fiance were only there for three days and felt as refreshed as if it was three weeks. The stay was enjoyable from start to finish. The location is so peaceful and the staff can’t do enough for you. The dinner service and the food was outstanding and there was so much choice at breakfast. Where do I start with the views of the Lake. We are already looking at returning to this hotel and we have been back home for two days. Perfection.
