Gorgeous hotel - very expensive area
Had a lovely week. Staff very attentive and helpful. Food excellent. Lovely swimming pools set in the rocks and easy access to the beach. The only downside to the area is that is one of the most expensive places on earth, bar Monte Carlo. If you are not a oligarch on a yacht then you are in the minority. Taxis are extortionate. So go prepared with plenty of money!!!!!!!!!!! Porto Cervo a bit disappointing as not much there other than designer shops dripping with bling.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Not much chance of that really, but lovely restaurant near the hotel called Dantes that serve excellent pizza. Mama Latinas is also very good, just a short taxi ride and 20 euros away! You will get much much more for your money than in Porto Cervo
