Timing is everything
The staff of the Hotel were friendly and accomodated all of our needs. The shuttle bus was handy for getting to and from the airport and all around Rome. We arrive at the airport and caught the shuttle to the hotel. It was 10:00 am and there were three clean rooms available and we could check in upon our arrival. After securing our luggage we caught the shuttle once again. It was thrifty to ride the shuttle to the airport, then take a bus into the city of Rome. The price of Taxies were above and beyond what we had planned on spending. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and noise from the airport was unnoticable. The shuttle began at early in the morings so meeting an early flight out was not a problem. We experienced a wonderful trip to Rome and a delightful stay in the Hotel.
Use the hotel shuttle, it will help with your traveling expenses.

Hilton Garden Inn Rome
This hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice and makes an effort to help you with everything you could possibly need. The only bad thing is the location we did not realize just how far it was from Rome’s city center. We ended up spending more money on our commute into Rome than we did on our food and souvenirs combined. If you plan on renting a car and driving on your own it’s best to stay at the Hilton because you will have ample parking space but you are braver than me. Driving in Rome is a little scary and the parking in the city is even scarier if you do decide to rent a car get a small one and practice your parallel parking.
Beware of the taxi driver who offers to drive you somewhere at a fixed price. They will overcharge you! Only hop in a taxi that uses his meter most reputable taxis hit the meter once you tell them where you want to go before you get into taxi.

Holland America Cruise
This hotel was very convenient to the airport and had bus service that was very good. We used it to go back and forth to the train station which allowed us to travel into and out of Rome with out taking taxi’s.
