Perfect hotel in Venice
This hotel has everything - it’s more or less perfect. For Italy - a very superior hotel.
Traveller's tip
The only fault with the hotel was that the hotel shuttle frequently had to leave passengers behind. It’s not big enough and doesn’t go to San Marco Square often enough. Suggest travellers buy a water bus pass as there is a stop very close to the hotel

A 5 star property with 3 star service
The hotel is waterfront, beautiful and luxurious although the free shuttle is sometimes inconvenient. The service needs improvement. We had requested months ahead that our room and our children’s room be on the same floor. When we checked in at 10am the rooms were not ready; the front desk assured us of this room arrangement. When we returned at 2pm, our rooms ended up in two different buildings. I was not happy but didn’t want to make a scene. The food is very expensive in this hotel and there is no store in the hotel. We wanted to buy water, but it was Sunday and the little stores on the island were closed. We bought a bottle of water from the bar for 6 euros!! The bar tender gave us a bottle of half used water. When I pointed this out, he quickly exchanged it. Service can definitely improve.

Comfort and Quality
My wife and I stayed at the Hilton for two nights as we started our trip through Italy. The stay was exceptional. The staff was extremely helpful, courtious, and friendly. Our room gave us an excellent view of the city across the water. We awoke each morning watching the cruise ships coming into port. We were extremely pleased with our stay and look forward to returning. August 2009

THe sunset from the rooftop bar is very beautiful. You will want to see it every night you are at the hotel.
