Nice little hotel
Nice little character hotel. Quite a nice restaurant too (although menus don’t rotate each day- but there are plenty of nice places to eat within 30 mins drive)

Nice Hotel, but ...
Hotel is nice, but located in an industrial area. You can walk into the old town. Big problem was no air conditioning. Summer does get hot in La Rochelle and the rooms became uncomfortable at night.

Great value and good for families
We were a little bit concerned reading other reviews about the location, but actually its not that far out and using the electric ferry boat to cross the harbour is very handy. Having stayed at the Ibis Vieux Port previously it didn’t really take any longer to get into the centre of town. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well presented. Minor niggles were no iron, no shaver point, and just one tiny bin in bathroom. The WC was located by the entrance but the bathroom was at the back of the apartment - again only a minor niggle. Would definitely recommend to families - great value and much more spacious than most hotels. Breakfast available but we found a great bakers on the way to town serving good coffee etc.
