Kaanapali Ocean Inn No Ka Oi
Everything here @ Kaanapali Ocean was truly wonderful! Granted, it is not "resort-ful" as big sister, Royal Lahaina. But you still can use amenities as RLahaina, etc. The front desk people were so AWESOME (@RLahaina) and the cleaning crew was so OHANA like! Our room was old but so COMFORTABLE! @ night, you can hear the beauty of the ocean, a lanai that was so inviting, a room that was so relaxing! I laugh because everytime I mentioned that I was staying @ KOI, the people was say: "never heard of it"! , they only know RLahaina..hahaha. For the price and excellant service, I DO recommend this Inn!
You need to do the Hana trip through Ekahi Tours! That is a wonderful company and our driver/guide: "Gigi" was heaven sent!!! Thank you Ekahi Tours, Tracy, etc!

Had a great time!
It’s hard to write anything bad about staying in Maui. I loved every second of it, even some of the not so great parts about the hotel. First off, the guy at the front desk made it seem like we were getting this amazing deal by him upgrading us to an ocean view. He will start out by saying they have to charge you a small fee. You say no thanks, we’ve spent so much already, etc. He then just upgrades you for free. Hotel view was awesome, not so much the room. Gross shower, very tiny, and the blue carpet wasn’t the best. but oh well, I didnt go to Maui to sit in my room! After checking out at the end of our trip, they tried charging me an extra $70 for parking! They never mentioned a parking fee at check in. There were no signs saying there was a per day charge of $10. We disputed it and they cleared it after a few minutes of arguing. So that wasn’t the best ending to a fab trip... but I actually would go back. The hotel location was amazing and it was overall pretty good.
If you go to Kaanapali Beach, I highly recommend snorkeling at Black Rock. It’s right in front of the Sheraton hotel. Ask anyone and they will know. If you swim along side of the big rock, you’ll see so many sea turtles! We swam with like 5 or 6 of them! It was so cool. Just don’t touch! It’s a felony!
