Good hotel
Good hotel, not great location. Service very good on the whole but had to wait for c 25 mins to be seated for b/fast one morning when not busy and staff quite rude.

It was a nice clean and modern hotel with superb service
I am really fussy about hotels but the Village Hotel met all my expectations. It was very clean and modern. I had nice full English breakfast and a lovely steak from their grill bar for dinner. However you need a car to get to town as its loaction is quite far from town centre. Plenty of space to park. The only downturn was that some kids were skating outside and were quite loud in the car park that annoyed me a bit.

All was well at this hotel,helpful staff, comfortable beds, reasonably good dinner-but one drawback- breakfast, A buffet breakfast must be the easiest to make, 7 items of bulk cooking. my "but" refers to having to wait for 10 - 15 minutes on both days and then finding buffet not containing all items for some more minutes. While we waited there were clearly several empty tables which indicated not enough staff.
