Downtown Denver
Hotel is worn and needs a makeover. Water was off for two hours one night. Size of suite was great. Good downtown location. Free shuttle was useful.
Denver Performing Arts Center is a must.

This is a great hotel.
We had a Denver Suite which was actually a large one-bedroom apartment, furnished with everything you could want, including a huge American fridge and a balcony overlooking downtown Denver. It is a 10 -15 minute walk to downtown but the hotel runs a free on demand shuttle, which will take you wherever you want to go and even pick you up and bring you back again. The staff were all really friendly and effecient and if I go back to Denver I will make a point of staying here again.
The Colburn Hotel next door has a huge covered deck with TVs showing sports and has a great atmosphere on Monday game nights and serves proper sports food - wings, nachos etc.

Good Value but not the nicest place.
The furniture was worn and outdated. The wallpaper trim in the bathroom was torn. The dishes available were sticky and the carpets were stained. The good stuff...the view was great, the location is good, the parking is free, had a full size kitchen, the bath had a nice shower head, there was internet access. This is the second time Ive stayed there (Denver Suite this time). Previously we stayed in the Colorado Suite which was nicer but more pricey. Because of the pros, I would likely stay there again.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
location...buses are nearby, can walk to downtown, Dazzle Jazz club is around the corner as are numerous other great restaurants.
